Students view model Google Slides presentation from teacher on this subject. Students will choose their country (Guatemala, Ethiopia, or other choice) and begin research.

    Day 4: Students explore background resources in order to define and find indigenous peoples. Students conduct research on indigenous children in their chosen country, recording notes on a graphic organizer (prewriting). 

    Day 5-6: Students draft online, incorporating teacher revisions. 

    Day 7: Students edit work and practice presentations.
