“How does this connect to a self portrait for you?”

This is a self portrait to me because I really love sunsets. I think they’re really pretty. This sunset has a lot of my favorite colors like the reds and the blues. My cousins and I had pulled an all-nighter. We sat on my driveway and watched the sun rise. In the moment, we had a conversation about how beautiful it was and how we just wanted it to be a moment that we could remember. I remember my cousin telling me that we shouldn’t have our phones and just let the moment be in the moment. This picture contrasts that idea because I couldn’t stand not taking a picture of it.
