This artwork was made aiming for the feeling of being a kid again, attempting something new. While most people may say that it looks idiotic, Ace thinks otherwise and says that it can resonate with the feeling of wanting to go back to those times you didn't know too much.

Burst Dragon

This artwork is Ace's try at copying a design from a classic piece of Chinese porcelain. Made on January 31st, 2021, this artwork is of a dragon, jaw open and tongue out. Ace put a lot of their anger out into this piece, specifically on the dragon, as it's a symbol of chaos and untamed nature.

Ace's take on their everyday life, living as a student in lockdown. It's read from right to left like all other mangas, and is a simple four panel comic that already gives a good idea as to what goes on in their home for them.

This is, in a way, the artist's way of going back to some "old times" -- back when they themselves were in the k-pop fandom. Here, it attempts to showcase what they felt like was the culture of (South) Korea nowadays.

FUN FACT: Ace used to also study Korean just to know what their idols were saying.

Hello! My name is Raizzel Alajar, or Ace for short. I go by any pronouns, and do art in my spare time. Other hobbies of mine include singing, writing, baking, and gardening! I'm typically a hopeless romantic who likes to act dramatic about life, love, and all those other things that a 14 year old should worry about later.

The reason why the theme is the way it is, is because I like to connect all my artworks to the past somewhat. This theme can range from the subject of the artwork, to the style of how it's done, to even the emotions put behind it! The "Midsummer Daydreams" gallery is inspired by my naivety as a child -- thinking places are only their good sides, being in love with k-pop boys and anime/manga, or even just childish attempts at certain things.
