People overlook it for other instruments

I am not one of those people

And so are a few other people

No one should dislike it, it is better and easier

Of black and white keys, there's nothing like these, because they belong to the piano.

Poem analysis

I decided to make the first letter of each line spell piano to give just the single letters in the lines a more important role, just like the individual notes in a song, everyone is important

Me versus everyone.

And no one.

Everyone is the other runners and

nobody being the wind

I’m fighting the wind more than anything

More than even my competitors

The wind is unhelpful, pushing me back

But I keep running, after all, it doesn't push me over so it's fine

I just keep running and wait until I get to the other side so the wind can push me forward.

Poem Analisis

This poem is based on my last meet at Plaza Middle School when the wind was crazy, causing me to miss my PR by ONE second.
