Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz

This novel entices its readers by creating a compilation of stories, that causes to shiver-me-timbers! in my blankets. The stories found in this book truly gave me chills regardless of the daylight of the warm month of April. I wouldn't suggest reading it at 3:33 AM, but otherwise I give it 11/10 dogs. Would suggest the book to those thrill seekers out there, you Behemoth-riding freaks!

THE OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE BY NEIL GAIMAN

The book shows the memory of a world where fantasy meets reality, all through the eyes of a mortal boy and a not-so-mortal girl. There are creatures unknown to us that create uneasiness when read, but otherwise it is a rather good read if you are into fantasy worlds yet at the same time would like a practical read. It is a short AR book which makes it a good book to read over a long weekend, and a story you could tell younger siblings (but beware of the oh-so-dreaded tears!). I give 12/10 dogs.
