The Reagan Doctrine was a concept that wanted to put a end to communism before it got started and could enslave and or attack a country. Reagan sent out american troops to Grenada Island to put a full end to a communist invasion. This impacted americans in a positive way it showed that the US wanted nothing to do with communism and we made a very strong effort to put a slow hult to it. The doctrine started the slow movement to end communism.

Reagan attempted to deal with problems of illegal immigration. He escalated penalties on people and business who hire illegal immigrants. He also increased Ins to enforce the law. He then afford resident alien status which is a immigrant who has legally and lawfully recorded as legal citizen of the US. The results of this was reduced flow of immigration and increased citizenship until global recession of early 1990s. This event had a somewhat positive effect on the US because it limited immigrants which then helped limit bad or negative things out of the US.
