I think the Fireside chat on banking crisis was very important and beneficial. FDR explained in very simple language for Americans to understand easier, which I think helped catch more peoples attention and help them understand what was happening. FDR was very clear on what he was explaining and gave a lot of detail. I think these Fireside chats really made a great impact on the people to help them better understand and listen to the things that were happening.

In my opinion, in the first five minutes I think that FDR is doing well with the fireside chats. He is explaining the crisis very well and he talks to them as he is their friends and that he knows them personally. He gives out the details of what is happening and informs them on anything else that is happening. He is trying his best to get the bank back right and to get them out of the Great Depression.

I think the Fireside chats were really beneficial during this time. He didnt leave the US to guess if change was happening he let them know exactly what was happening. Even if a newspaper had covered what was doing somethings could have been lost in translation but the fireside chats left no room for miscommunication because it came directly from the source. I also think it was brilliant to utilize the radio because not everyone knew how to read at this time and he talk simple so everyone could understand what he is saying.

Fireside chats seem to be very important during this time, he was talking about the banks. President FDR also explained what was going on during this time and what was happening with the banking. He tried to get banking back right, and he also wanted to help the people that was going through the great depression. He felt that everyone in the nation needed to hear this chat, because it was very important.

The fireside chats were a good idea. It felt like a direct connection with the public. In them he explained the problems the U.S. had and how they should be handled. Using the radio to have these chats was smart. He knew that many Americans owned them and that they would be listening.

FDR decided to use the radio because nearly everybody had it. The fireside chats were a good idea because everyone was able to witness or listen to them and it was direct. Sometimes when a former president would give a speech, it would be written down and they would have to follow that speech and nothing was from the heart. Also the president could be everywhere in America at once.

FDR used the fireside chats to create a deeper connection with Americans to let them know that he was a President that will actually try to listen unlike Hoover. He also elaborated on every new regulation and reform so Americans would not be left in the dark to the changes being made around them since it would obviously, directly affect them. Radios were also quite popular due to the roaring 20's meaning that many Americans had access to them to be able to listen to FDR. I think the Fireside Chats were a great idea and that it was a creative way for FDR to show his compassion.

I thought that the Fireside chats really helped the people during their time get through the Great Depression. I liked how he told what the problems were and what needed to be fixed, that let's the people be aware of all that was going and what they were trying to fix. He also annouced the process he was going to take to help with everything, which really gave people hope. He decided to use the radio since everyone was using it during that time so it was best to get the word out.

the fireside chats helped the american people by giving them a sense of security and awareness by letting them feel a personal connection to the president who is desperately trying to correct these wrongs. the radio was a perfect way to connect the people to the president and his citizens since he was using what was most likely popular and what people might have in their house. this may be why FDR was seen as a compassionate and caring person due to these actions.

FDR knew that everyone was listening to him and saw an opportunity to speak through the radio. When he was speaking, he would calm the people and would explain the situation. He explained what was happening with the bank crisis and what the people could do. He gain the people's confidence through these chats. He made it personal and would talk as I and you because he wanted the people to have faith in banks again.

FDR was the first president to ever talk to the people of the US through the radio to get across important messages. When he did this, he called it his fireside chats. I think this was a great idea because of how personal it was. It in-stored some confidence in the previously untrusting citizens. I believe this was one of FDR's smartest ideas because of how well it worked in helping the country better understand and fully comprehend what the president wanted to tell them.

Fireside chats were where family all around the United States would put their radio over there fireplaces and listen to FDR speak. I think this was a good idea because it informed Americans what problems the government was having and how they were going to address them. This eased many Americans minds. I think that this is one of the reasons FDR was known as a good president because the fireside chats were so personal. FDR decides to use radios because at this time they were new and everyone had one.
