The Prattville Community Chorus was established in 1972 in Prattville, Alabama. I played as their secondary pianist last spring, and recently went to their spring concert. Read the article for more information. :)

Montgomery Youth Orchestra

My brother's in the Montgomery Youth Orchestra, which is an auditioned orchestra for teenagers in the Montgomery Area.

Montgomery Youth Chorale

The Montgomery Youth Chorale had their first concert in spring 2002 with the Montgomery Chorale & their first independent concert in 2003, and have been performing both independently & with the Chorale ever since then. I was in the Youth Chorale for about a year & a half. It's a free auditioned chorus for kids up to 16, or up to when their voice breaks.

The Chestnut Street Opry began in January 2010 in Montgomery, Alabama, and has become a large bluegrass & country jam in the Montgomery area every 2nd Friday of the month.

Montgomery Symphony Orchestra

The Montgomery Symphony Orchestra is a volunteer symphony based in the Montgomery area. It was founded in 1976, and is currently directed by Maestro Thomas Hines.

I played as a 'special young artist' for one of their Holiday Pops concerts several years ago.

This is a picture of the Violin & Cello Fellows of the Orchestra: the only two musicians who are paid.
