I am completing this year to progress to the University of Nottingham to study Finance, Accounting, and Management. During my foundation year at Kaplan, I studied Maths, Statistics, Business, English, and an Extended Project. In my first term, I focused on improving my academic English and was proud to meet the language requirements for my degree, which meant I no longer needed English in the second term. This achievement showed my progress and confidence in studying at university level.

Through Maths and Statistics, I developed strong problem-solving and data analysis skills that will support my future studies in finance and accounting. In Business, I learned about topics such as marketing, operations, and strategy, which gave me a better understanding of how businesses work and make decisions.

Completing the Extended Project was a valuable part of my course. It prepared me for university research by teaching me how to plan, research, and write a structured academic report. I really enjoyed this module because it allowed me to study a topic in depth and develop my critical thinking and independent learning skills.
