I have also worked as a professional Firefighter in the Volunteer Fire Department of Santa Rosa de Cabal for more than 2 years, before being a Bopmbero I was a volunteer of the Colombian Red Cross where I worked as a youth volunteer and rescuer for 8 years. Being a firefighter is not my job, it's my way of life, because every day I receive the service it's like a day out.
During these years I have had bitter and happy experiences, from seeing many bodies of injured and dead adults and children, as well as arriving at a school and having children pay tribute to you for being "the hero of the city" or simply that the person affected or your relatives tell you a simple thank you.
