Sinful anger is rooted in pride, envy, discontent, among other things that are against God. We must humbly surrender our anger to God by repentance. Repentance means turning away from sin and turning to God. When we're angry, we must find the real reasons. It shows that someone has a clear aim and determination of things.  Everyone who follows Jesus has a clear purpose in this life. 
As God’s handiwork, we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works that God prepared in advance for us to do. We must build our lives on the strong foundation of Jesus' victory and His teachings.
