         <description><![CDATA[<p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A type of cell division that results in the formation of two daughter cells each with the same number and kind of chromosomes as the parent cell.</p><p><br/></p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Homologous chromosomes act differently.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sister kinetochores are paired in a back-to-back position.</p><p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; It is triggered by the activation of cyclin-dependent kinase 1.</p><p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Chromosomes meet at the middle at the metaphase plate.</p><p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The microtubules disintegrate and forms a nuclear membrane around the chromosome thus forming two nuclei.</p><p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Daughter nucleus is identical to the parent nucleus with two sets of chromosomes.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>1.A type of cell division that results in the formation of four daughter cells each with the same number and kind of chromosomes as the parent cell.</p><p><br/></p><p>2.Two homologous chromosomes are joined and crossed through chiasmata.</p><p><br/></p><p>3.Sister kinetochores are oriented in a side-by-side position.</p><p><br/></p><p>4.Centromeric kinetochores are grouped and linked in a synaptonemal complex dependent manner.</p><p><br/></p><p>5.Chromosomes adjust at the metaphase plate.</p><p><br/></p><p>6.Division of cells results in formation of two nuclei that in turn disintegrates and gives rise to two more nuclei resulting in four cells.</p><p><br/></p><p>7.Each of the four cells have a full set of chromosomes.</p>]]></description>
