         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some towns were built where Romans once had lived and others near a river or a sea. <br>Each town was owned by a Lord and made them pay taxes and work on his land. To feel safe from attack they built stone walls around the city.<br>There were very few towns in England, after 1087 there were just 6 out of London.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Family roles in the Middle Ages:</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Children were divided by the fate into two categories: nobility and common and their lives and families were very different.<br>The mother of a common baby could nurse her own child and look after him, she used to spend all her time attending her husband and cleaning the house.<br>The father of a common baby was likely to be a farmer, carpenter or a merchant. His main role into the house was bring the money.<br>The mother of a nobility baby couldn't  nurse her child because it was seen to reduce fertility; and she was to required to have as many children as possible. Her children were tended by servants and nursemaids so she didnt need to make any effort.</div>]]></description>
