Including students interests and relatable life lessons within the classroom to help students become good people first. Teaching is not a one way street, especially with high school students. It must be a team effort, where we are all players with the same goal, but we all have to play our part. There were many moments in which I felt I wasn't good enough. When talking with my students, all of those worries went away and I felt I had accomplished something with those relationships. Getting to know students built a stronger foundation in my relationship with the class, as well as motivated students to continue working harder in the classroom.

Languages use all different aspects of learning. They are auditory and visual and kinesthetic. Through connect a new language to students' interests and lives, each student can enjoy learning a new language.
