Providing OB/GYN care, Dr. Steven Raheb initially joined a Connecticut practice run by his father and took over the business when his father retired after six years. In addition to providing patient care, he maintained two midwives on staff and oversaw payroll and purchasing. Retired from medical practice, Dr. Raheb now serves as an adjunct professor of human sciences and biology at Quinebaug Valley Community College. His background extends to a past position as general medical officer and OB/GYN at the U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) in San Diego. While practicing at the USNH Subic Bay in the Philippines, he earned the Naval Achievement Medal and the National Defense Medal. Community involved, Dr. Raheb serves on the board of the Woodstock Agricultural Society, which hosts the Labor Day weekend fair each year in Connecticut.
