Pythagoras has done many things during his time on earth. He is mainly known as Greek philosopher and mathematician. The Greek mathematician created the famous theorem, which is (unfortunately) still used today: Pythagorean Theorem. This theory basically is the “area of the square whose side is the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares on the other two sides” (Wiki). He also created the cult of Pythagorean, which was based on beliefs about mathematics, this is represented with the scroll. Hanging from his wall, you can find an old looking scroll symbolizing his cult called Pythagorean-ism. They believed that everything consisted with math. Apparently, Pythagoras had the gift of talking to animals, he used this ability to find out information about people and more which was represented by the animal streamers. Pythagoras was a vegetarian, but he refused to consume beans. He believed that beans where spawned from the same source if you eat a bean it would be equivalent to eating a human. So he has a big poster saying "no beans allowed". I included the lyre which was an instrument that Pythagoras could play quite well. This was instrument was important to him because he studied the relationship between musical pitch and string length. This man was so in love with math that he devoted a lot of time mastering it, so I thought he would have a cute math equation bed spread in his dorm. A room wouldn’t be complete without a rug. So a rug with the number 10 on it would be perfect for Pythagoras. He believed that the number 10 was the supreme number.

As a man with many accomplishments, who wouldn't want to hang a self portet of them self in their room. College is going to be tough for Pythagoras, I can just tell, but every time he looks up at this portet, he will be reminded of all the successful things he has done and will reassure him self that college is going to be a breeze!
