The disease isn’t known to affect humans however, but you still need to take extreme caution when hunting. I agree with this article in the fact that it doesn’t affect humans… yet… but it is very possible that it could eventually be deadly to people. Most hunters only found deer just lying on the ground either dead or dying. This disease could end up really affecting hunters in the way that they may not be able to hunt much anymore, it’ll be harder to hunt, especially if the disease goes to other species.

The newest new horizons has not had it in its near two year life span and this is the last update. They have given us a clip showing the normal green froggy chair the fandom went wild. I’m curious about what these experts think about who is going to actually win the game. I’m not only curious about the spread of the game. An element of the author’s craft that I like is that they break each game up into sections, then they talk about one game, then they move on to the next. I also like that they put some of the pictures of the star players.

The Browns needed a quarterback, so they went out and signed quarterback Case keenum. I love that the Browns are doing this because Case Keenum is a good quarterback that led the vikings to an NFC Championship game in 2018. Case seems ready because he is all fired up for the game on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

In the Legend of Zelda timeline, there’s been a lot of different reincarnations of The Great King of Evil, aka Ganon. He could have 🤬* forms and humanoid forms. I read about the different forms that Ganon takes in the different games. I would have to say that my favorite version of ganon is Demise from Skyward Sword. I’ve seen that boss fight when my brother had the Wii version, but I can’t wait to see what the battle is like for Skyward Sword HD, and I hope that the rendering of Ganon's character is HD as well.

I connected with the story "I buried the lede," by the pioneer woman in June of 2019, because they talked about how the friend group meeting up during the summer time. When they meet up they bring food that everyone likes. A connection I made with them is that it is good to meet up with old friends after so often so that you know what is going on in everyone's life. It has little articles that continue to the next one so you know what everybody is feeling. They take food to the reunion because all the girls there like to cook and they usually like what each other make so they get recipes from each other.

I use single-bevel broadheads because it causes the arrow to spin more and cause more internal damage. But according to “www.themeateater.com”, (2021), by Tony J. Peterson, people would rather use double-bevel broadheads because they have more penatration because they weigh more. Now if I was hunting a bigger game animal like a moose, that is when I would use a double-bevel broadhead.

What I had read today is an article entitled "Chevrolet Goes Big With New 1,000 HP 632″ Big-Block Crate Motor" by ANDREW WOLF on October 20, 2021. It talked about this new engine that chevy is going to come out with. The engine that they are making produces a top horse power of 1,000HP and the torque is 876 LB-FT at 5,600 rpm. The highest RPM that it can go up to is 7,000.

What drew me to this article was that I like to read about engines and I like to learn about them. Also I have one that I am going to redo so that is nice to know more about them. - Weston

This article written by Ryan Styles on October 21, 2021 is questioning if the Oklahoma City Thunder should trade for Marving Bagley, who is currently a center for the Kings that wants to be traded. He has recently fallen out of the Kings rotation but has a nice upside as a player so the Thunder could possibly attain him without giving much back.

I think that trading for Marvin Bagley would be a good idea for the Thunder. He has shown flashes of his potential by averaging 14 points, seven rebounds, and an assist per game while shooting efficiently from inside and outside the arc.

"Landowner-led development series" by Suzie Horne on 18 October 2021 about how land is getting sold and developed on the outskirts of cities. I liked this post because it showed that we need to wake up and realize that farm ground is running out and selling out isn’t good for the environment and for production. Another post I read was about the rising machinery prices and how that by 2024 machinery could increase by ⅓ of its price right now. Based on this article the prices of everything will go up with it and it won't affect as many farmers but the parts and labor will be high so that may have some effects on farmers.

For example in 2019 and 2020, in the age group of 65 years and older there was a 39% effectiveness rate. But in 9 to 17 years of age there was a 40% effectiveness. The lowest effectiveness is 18 years to 49 years which would only be 34%. I chose to read about this article because I wanted to know the percentage rates of the effectiveness of the flu shot.

The most interesting article I read today was about coffee cake cookies. Jesse Szewczyk was a man who liked both coffee cake and cookies. So he decided to create a coffee cake cookie. He thought these treats would make the perfect combination together and make the perfect fall treat. As if these crisp and chewy coffee cake cookies aren’t good enough already he added a delicious drizzle of sweet icing.

While I was reading this article I could just imagine the delicious taste and smell of those cookies. I am too a fan of both coffee cake and cookies. So I couldn’t even imagine how good these would be. I was thinking fall is coming up and this might be the perfect recipe that I will have to try out next.

The hotly debated question about why mammoths went extinct has been answered. It was because when the icebergs melted, it was far too wet for the giant animals to survive because their food source – vegetation – was practically wiped out. Scientist blamed it on the humans because the mammoths lived fine with the climate beforehand but when humans came into the mix and started killing the mammoths off and they thought that was the cause.

I find this article very interesting because this was something that happened ages ago and we just found out the answer. This shows we do not know everything and have many things to learn. It was interesting to learn about how the humans used the mammoths and how they slowly started to go extinct.

In the article, “WIN OVER LAKERS HAS GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS OPTIMISTIC DESPITE STEPHEN CURRY'S STRUGGLES” by Skip Bayless, published October 10th, 2021, talked about how the warriors beat a good Lakers team without their star player, Stephen Curry, having a great game. Curry still ended up with 21 points but only made 5 shots on 21 attempts, but this is good news for the Warriors because the rest of their team was able to pull through and get the win. Curry still contributed with 10 assists and 10 rebounds even though his shot was off.

Based on this article I think the Warriors have a good chance of going to the playoffs and making a big run, despite a first round exit in last year’s playoffs. I also liked how they said that Curry contributed in other aspects besides just scoring which really helped his team.

This articles talks about a man trying to beat his own world record. You may be asking what that record is and it’s literally just sitting in a bucket with ice all the way up to your neck for as long as you can. The man did exactly that and sat in the ice for over two hours. When I was reading this article I had a few different thoughts going through my head. The first thought was why in the world would somebody want to sit in ice for fun, like why put yourself through that pain. The second thought I had was me wondering why he was trying to beat his own record, I mean if you already have the record why try and break it.

During my reading time I read an article titled, “Elementary School Student ‘Wins’ ‘Stoney Patch Kids’ Marijuana Edibles From Class Prize Box, Teacher Arrested: Police.” Which was written by Jaqeulyn Gray, published on October 18, 2021. This reading was about a student who picked out an edible from the prize box at their school. The teacher had noticed that it was edible and told the student to put it back. Once they put it back they still picked out another edible. The student then went to daycare after school and a worker noticed that it wasn’t candy. They contacted the school and the teacher was arrested.

I think this is a crazy story. First off, if the teacher had edibles it is obvious that she has eaten them before. That is probably really embarrassing for her since she was a teacher and now it would be hard for her to get another job. Her career just went downhill real fast. And there was more than just one edible in the prize box. It was said that the teacher had accidentally mixed the edibles with the actual candy. Luckily the student didn’t eat any or else that would not have been good.

Last season Beal put up insane number with 156 points in the length of three games. Do I think he deserves to be on a better team? Absolutely. He is still undecided with his choices. This article keeps me thinking about his loyalty. He deserves to play on a better team but is it worth it in terms of the money.

He was having difficulty breathing, severe chest pain, pale grey skin, and the dog wouldn’t leave until he picked up the phone to call 911. After he got off the phone and every time he’d go to get up and sit down, Carolyn, the dog would sit right in front of him so he wouldn’t move, or he would sit on him so he wouldn’t leave or go anywhere else.

I chose to write about this article because it drew me in when I just read “Service Dog Keeps Her Human Safe From A Heart Attack”. So I decided to read it, because it reminded me of my dog. When someone wasn’t feeling good she’d sit right next to them the whole day. (She's not a service dog) it just reminded me of her. She does that to me. But they gave how the man was thankful that his dog did that because once the police arrived they saw that he had something that was about to become a heart attack. So I think that the dog was a HERO not just a Service dog.

Researchers have identified a chemical compound that may be suitable as an agent against several unicellular parasites. The point of attack for this promising substance is the protein tubulin: It helps cells divide and is essential for the multiplication of parasites.

I am happy that this discovery has occurred. Even though it doesn’t work on all parasites, maybe with enough adjustments it can work on others. Malaria and toxoplasmosis can cause many birth defects and miscarriages in pregnant women. So the fact that this compound can actually prevent the parasite from reproducing is amazing news. The parasites dying off will allow the weight of possible defects to be lifted off of expecting parents. If we are lucky enough this could pave the way to allow viruses to be cured. This new compound can also help in treating parasites in animals with enough research. The fact that we know this compound works for these types of parasites may cause more compounds to be found for different parasites.

You might be thinking, “Obviously, it’s impossible to shrink to the size of an ant,” yeah but I want you to know why it’s impossible. To get the main detail out of the way, it’s physically impossible to become so small in such a short amount of time, our bodies would literally explode. I don’t care about the “pym particles” that keep human’s structure intact so Scott wouldn’t explode. Reading this article probably ruined the mood of the movie for me but whatever. In this article I read the publisher talked about how the Chicago Cubs recent rumors/talk about them ‘spending intelligently’ and how there is a corresponding report that give us a little bit of hope when it comes to the up coming offseason and the team possibility that they pursues about some of the premier free agents.

I think that these rumors might be true but they are just rumors

Today I Read Is That Banksy Worth More Now That It’s Shredded? We Asked the Experts by Nate Freeman, October 10, 2018. In my article we learn about how one of Banksy’s artworks, Girl With Balloon, got shredded right after being auctioned off for £860,000 (just over 1 million). It slid down the frame and got halfway shredded much to the audience’s shock. However, now that this ordinary piece is more unique, people are predicting the next time this piece is up for auction it will sell for more.

I decided to read more recent blogs about this artwork, and it went up for auction again on October 14th of this year. Before this work was shredded the seller expected it to be one of Banksy’s worst selling artworks. However, just a week ago, the now shredded piece sold for £18.5 million ($25.3 million). To be honest I would have rather wanted the full piece and not the half shredded one, but that’s not the case for these people. They say it has a more uniqueness about it that makes it out of the ordinary and more special than the full piece. This piece also made art history, so that adds more value to it I guess.

the author speaks about a book about a father trying to “cure” his child's autism by forcing him to do things that are damaging to the child's mental health. The things the father did should be classified as abuse. The author of the article speaks about how they feel like this is wrong because you can't cure autism. Of course I agree with the author because what this father did is wrong and givinging misleading advice to parents who are trying to raise a child with autism and while I was reading this I felt like the man in this story had sound unsorted issues.

My article is Janis’s Bighorn Sheep Hunt, by Janis Putela, published on Oct 19, 2021. This article is about a man's first bighorn sheep hunt in Colorado. It talks about all the steps involved in hunting bighorn sheep, and it has pictures to help you visualize the terrain he went through. He also talks about the bighorn sheep itself, and the size it has to be to legally kill one. While I was reading this I was really thinking about all the struggles he must have gone through in the tough Colorado terrain. I was also wondering how in shape he was in, and how much work, if any, he put into getting ready for the hunt. I really like how the author added pictures because it helps you understand the terrain, and animals. I really like how the author shared his personal feelings about the hunt. It’s interesting that he says he called his mentors and family members to thank them for their support.

Today's article that I read was called "Intellectually Disabled Alabama Death-Row Prisoner Appeals Denial of Stay of Execution, Arguing Designation of Lethal Injection Violated Americans With Disabilities Act" from Death Penalty Information Center on Oct 19, 2021. It talks about Willie B. Smith being sentenced to death row by lethal injection. He is a disabled man who got charged with a murder of a women who he supposedly robbed and abducted at a ATM machine in 1992. I was interested in this article because he is a disabled man who got charged with murder. I wanted to know how they caught him, but they didn't say. Or what he did or how he did this murder with a disability. When I was reading this article it said that he didn't fill out a form distributed by Alabama Department of Correction which would have let him have an alternative method of execution. I wonder why he didn't fill this form out or what made him not do it correctly.

In the article entitled "Jason Kelce on Ben Simmons saga: 'Just play better,' then Philadelphia will 'love you'," by Tim McManus on October 21, 2021, we learn that with the first game of the Philadelphia 76ers season over in a 117 - 97 win over the New Orleans pelicans All star Ben Simmons wasn't able to play in the game for getting a suspension for not subbing in for practice. Philadelphia Eagles veteran center says on the Simmons situation,"I tell you guys, I don't want to crush any other players, but what's going on with the 76ers and Ben Simmons, all of that is because of a lack of accountability, a lack of owning up to mistakes and a lack of correcting things," If all that got corrected, if you're fixing free throws, if you're getting better as a player, none of this is happening. So everybody can complain about how tough this city is to play in. Just play better, man. This city will love you.

Personally I hope Simmons returns to the team or gets traded soon because he is a bright young star whose talent is just getting wasted as he doesn't get to play but personally if I were Simmons I wouldn't want to go back either if the whole city except for my teammates gave up on me. But also I also can't just side with Simmons for ghosting your team for months and not trying to get in contact with them on anything then just show up because you're missing out on money it's just not cool.

Women surviving three shipwrecks -Hannah Muller

During the 20 minutes I read about a woman from the 1800’s that got really lucky and survived 3 really bad shipwrecks including the famous shipwreck the Titanic. The other two shipwrecks she survived were the Olympic and the HMHS Britannic. When the olympic started to sink Violet Constance Jessop said she was sleeping when all the board members started yelling ordering everyone off the ship. She was handed a mothers baby and got on a lifeboat and thankfully survived. Unlike the first shipwreck the HMHS Britannic left some damage. This time violet had gotten off onto a lifeboat but after they had boarded the lifeboat started going into the sinking ship's propellers as it was sinking. So she jumped off and tried to swim away but unfortunately got hit in the head and had a skull injury for the rest of her life. I really enjoyed this article. I found it very interesting how she survived three different shipwrecks including the worst the Titanic and most people barely could survive one. If I was her I would be scared to go on ships after the first wreck she was in but she even went on again after the second and third wreck. That really shows how brave and determined a girl violet was.

My article is titled, “Vanished in Vegas: Where is Amanda Lee Fravel?” written by True Crime Diva on May 3, 2021. This article is about a woman named Amanda Lee Fravel who disappeared without a trace. We saw a couple suspects, but the case was never solved. I enjoyed the imagery the author uses in this article. It really helped me understand what was going on in the case and keeps you intrigued. I also enjoyed her word choice. She keeps it easy to understand and follow along with the story. I agree that her roommate is suspicious as he lies multiple times.
