The American black bear and the red fox are both predator and prey. My two plants are the Oak tree and the pine tree. The climate in the Blue Ridge mountains can be very cold during winter and hot in the summer. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My Science Project is about Coastal Plains Region. The Coastal Plains has flat land with no steep hills. It has farms, orchards and swamps, one is the Okefenokee Swamp.  I also found information on Georgia's state tree the Live Oak, and the Saw Palmetto Plant. The Coastal Plains contains barrier islands, swampy lowlands, and flat plains. The area covers the southern and southeastern part of Georgia.Alligators are predators that lives in swampy wetlands.          <description><![CDATA[<div>White-tailed deer<br>I chose the white-tailed deer because even though it is well known, it is also overlooked. They live in the Blue Ridge Region of Georgia in the wooded areas. White-tailed deer feast on leaves, fruits, twigs, and grass. White-tailed deer have brown fur which camouflage into their surroundings, long legs for running fast and jumping high, and a white tail for which they are named after. Male deer are called bucks and have antlers that they grow every year. Female deer are called does and their babies are called fawns. White-tailed deer are beautiful creatures.<br><br></div>]]></description>

The weather is not so hot in this habitat. They have many animals and plants. I like the sea turtles. They swim around in wire grass while the birds fly above.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I have chosen to do my project on the Appalachian Plateau. It is located in North GA. The animal I chose was the black bear. It is 2-3 feet in height. The adult male bear weighs between 150-300 pounds. They are mostly found in forest areas with thick ground vegetation.  They feed on nuts, fruits and leaves. The Appalachian Plateau also have a variety of plant life. Popular plants includes those of Maple and Tulips. My favorite ones are the Azalea's. They decorate many flower gardens with their pretty colors.</div>]]></description>
