2) Does having social media (Instagram and Snapchat) provide more opportunities to create better pictures, or just encourage more pictures of bad quality? (Explain)

1. A photo is good, when you are able to see the picture and the picture is not blurry. Another trait that makes a photo good is if you got the desired objects inside the photo, what you imagined the photo is going to look like.

2. I think social media provides opportunities for better pictures. I think this because, there are a lot of well taken photos. With this up and ans open to the public, it shows use ways we can improve the way we take pictures.

1. Being able to see the shadows and the highlights makes a good photograph. This is a good technique because it will show depth in the object and you will be able to tell where the light hits.

2. I think social media encourages more pictures of bad quality because social media does not have the choices a camera does. We can edit the photo after with filters and crop parts of it out but we are not able to focus on a specific object without editing. We can not show shadows with social media.

1) The lighting of the photograph makes a good photography and what can be seen in both the image and what the image is trying to capture. That includes the texture of an object.

2)In a way having social media such as Instagram and Snapchat does provide more opportunities to create a better picture because Social media has filters and has more items to make an image to look like good quality. Then there is the part when it also does give bad quality since most of the times Social media does not really capture what there really is, it´s more complicated to also capture really zoomed in images.

We know the photograph is good by looking at the quality and textures it has.

2. I think having social media makes more opportunities for people to have great pictures because what the pictures do is makes us more popular and gives us a contrast of highlight and shadows.

1. A good photograph appeals to the viewer of the photograph. It should have precise focus on a desired thing, or should contain something interesting to give the viewer a reason to look at the photograph. We can tell when they are good photos when they look appealing or are interesting. An example for something interesting would most likely be baby creatures such as seals, monkeys, or other animals that are considered cute. An example of something that would appeal to the viewer is high quality, like if a picture is extremely blurry, then it would be lower quality.
2. I think social media provides opportunities to make better picture, but it mostly contains bad quality pictures. As it said in the video, it said that there are more pictures posted every 6 months than there are stars in the Milky Way Galaxy. Only a handful of these photos are actually good photos, because now on social media people just want selfies, mugshots, and DIY's. Not many of these pictures are about nature, flowers, animals, etc.

1. First of all, a good photograph consists of no blurry images. I also would say the image's color schemes should be balanced (colors that aren't neon or hurt the eye).

2. I feel like having social media creates more opportunities to create good/better pictures. I feel like the pictures people upload are practices on the way to create good photos. It allows people to play around with camera settings to edit and adjust the photos. Everyone has a different view of "good" so that allows everyone view how they want to perfect/edit the photo they took.

The colors in the pictures should be balanced.

2. Having social media can provide more opportunities to create better pictures. We know that the picture is good because we can see how clear and it would capture the main point of the picture.
2) It provides more opportunities to create better pictures because it gives you an option to changing the image and putting filters of what can match your feed on your social media account. If a picture comes out in bad quality media helps the image to change by editing it.
