Summary of the First Day:

• I arrived early for an orientation and briefing session with Mr. Nazri and Mr. Hairunizam. The session covered the company’s organizational structure, work ethics, and key responsibilities throughout the internship period.

• Several other students arrived at 9:30 AM for their interview sessions.

• In addition to the formal briefing, we participated in an ice-breaking activity, office tour, and workspace introduction to help us adapt to the office environment.

Overall, the first day went smoothly. I feel grateful and excited to begin gaining hands-on experience in communication, management, and customer service—essential skills for a Personal Assistant in the takaful industry.

On the second day of my industrial training, I was assigned to edit promotional posters related to PRUBSN Takaful’s products and campaigns. The purpose of this task was to prepare the materials for review by the supervisor before they are published on social media or used for marketing purposes.

I applied my basic design skills and creativity in selecting appropriate colors, layouts, and information to ensure the posters were visually appealing and easy to understand. Once completed, the poster was submitted to the supervisor for review and feedback.

On the third day of my industrial training, I was assigned the task of entering client information into the system one by one. The data included full name, phone number, identification card number, and other essential details related to the takaful application.

Through this task, I learned how to use the system correctly while ensuring that all information was entered accurately, systematically, and according to the required format. This experience taught me the importance of data confidentiality, attention to detail, and how to manage information efficiently.

Additionally, the task helped me understand the basic workflow involved in client registration within the takaful industry. It gave me insight into how organizations handle sensitive client data in a structured and professional manner.

On the fourth day of my industrial training, I continued with the task of refining and enhancing promotional posters for the PRUBSN Takaful campaign. I was given the responsibility of adapting the design layouts based on feedback from my supervisor, ensuring that the information conveyed was clear, engaging, and capable of capturing the audience’s attention.

Beyond the technical aspects of design, I also gained valuable insight into visual marketing strategies, including image curation, typographic selection, and the process of optimizing posters for multi-platform distribution, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.

This activity significantly contributed to the development of my visual communication proficiency, deepening my understanding of how to integrate design elements effectively for a more professional and persuasive marketing approach in the takaful industry.

During the period from 20 to 22 March 2025, my daily activities primarily involved routine tasks such as editing promotional posters for PRUBSN Takaful products and campaigns, as well as gaining practical experience using the takaful system employed by the organization.

I was given the opportunity to use the office iPad to familiarize myself with the basic takaful system, including the client registration process, data verification, and system utilization for sales and promotional purposes.

These activities not only enhanced my skills in visual design but also provided early exposure to the digital systems used in takaful operations. This experience helped me better understand the actual workflow and the role of an agent or personal assistant in supporting the company’s operations.

On Friday, 23 March 2025, I was invited by my supervisor to participate in a motivational Zoom session featuring inspiring women leaders in the takaful industry.

During the session, several distinguished female role models shared their remarkable journeys, highlighting the obstacles they overcame, the strategies and mindset that propelled their success, and the unwavering discipline and resilience essential in a competitive industry.

This experience was profoundly inspiring and has greatly motivated me to pursue excellence in the takaful field. It underscored the reality that success is not accidental but the result of dedicated effort, a growth-oriented attitude, and confidence in one’s abilities.

Moreover, the session gave me valuable insights into leadership and personal development, reinforcing the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in building a rewarding career.

On Tuesday, 24 March 2025, I carried out my daily tasks in a calm and comfortable office environment. I took this opportunity to learn more about the basics of takaful through an informal sharing session with staff, as well as from reading materials provided at the office.

Among the key things I learned were the basic concepts of takaful, the differences between takaful and conventional insurance, and the types of plans offered by PRUBSN Takaful. This learning session helped me better understand the company’s role in offering financial protection and peace of mind to its clients.

Although the knowledge gained was introductory, it gave me a good initial overview of the takaful industry and further inspired my interest to explore this field in greater depth.

On 25th March 2025, I made the decision to register for the Takaful Basic Examination (TBE), which I will be sitting for on 28th March 2025 (Friday). This decision was greatly influenced by the encouragement and strong support from my boss and colleagues, who continuously motivated me to take this important step toward becoming a certified takaful agent.

They generously shared their personal experiences and offered valuable advice, which helped boost my self-confidence and belief in my capabilities. I truly appreciate their support, as it has given me the drive to prepare more diligently and wholeheartedly for the exam.

With determination and a positive mindset, I aim to sit for the examination calmly and strive to achieve a result that I can be proud of as part of my journey to becoming a qualified and trustworthy takaful representative.

Throughout the period of 25th to 28th March 2025, I focused on revising key topics related to the fundamentals of takaful in preparation for the Takaful Basic Examination (TBE).

My revision covered essential subjects such as the concept of takaful, the differences between takaful and conventional insurance, service ethics, and the customer registration process. In addition to studying notes and reference materials, I also received brief guidance and explanations from supportive staff members at the office who willingly shared their knowledge and experiences.

This period of revision was extremely beneficial in deepening my understanding of the takaful industry and strengthening my confidence to face the upcoming examination.

On 28th March 2025, I sat for the Takaful Basic Examination (TBE) for the first time. Although I had put in considerable effort and preparation, I was unable to pass the exam on this first attempt.

Nonetheless, I accept this outcome with a positive mindset and view it as a valuable learning experience. I also received words of encouragement and constructive advice from my boss and colleagues, who reminded me not to give up and to continue striving towards success.

With renewed motivation and a more thorough preparation strategy, I am determined to retake the TBE in the near future and achieve a better result.

On Saturday, 29th March 2025, I reported for half-day work from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The main activity for the day was a general office cleaning session, carried out together with the staff.

We conducted a thorough cleaning, which included reorganizing work desks, wiping down office equipment, and ensuring that the office space was neat, clean, and comfortable. This activity not only contributed to a more pleasant and organized work environment but also strengthened teamwork and collaboration between the staff and interns.

From 30th March to 4th April 2025, I was in the midst of preparations for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration and my journey back to Sabah to celebrate with my family. During this period, I focused on early preparations such as purchasing essentials, packing belongings, and organizing travel arrangements.

After completing the festivities in Sabah, I returned to Selangor to resume my duties and continue with my industrial training as usual.

On Wednesday, 9th April 2025, a Hari Raya celebration was held at the office in conjunction with the Aidilfitri festivities. The atmosphere was lively and joyful, with the presence of staff members and a variety of delicious dishes contributed by everyone through a potluck arrangement.

To contribute to the celebration, I took the initiative to prepare a fruit cocktail to be shared with the team. It was a delightful experience as I had the opportunity to actively participate and share the festive spirit with my colleagues.

This event not only strengthened the bond between staff and interns but also fostered a more friendly and harmonious working environment.

On Thursday, 10th April 2025, I carried out my duties as a Personal Assistant (PA) to my boss. On that day, I was assigned to prepare an official letter to be sent to the PRUBSN Takaful headquarters.

I drafted the letter using the proper formal format and ensured that all required information was complete and thoroughly reviewed before submission. This task provided me with valuable experience in preparing official documents and enhanced my written communication skills in a professional workplace setting.

On 11th April 2025, I was unable to attend work due to a recurring leg injury, which resulted from an accident I experienced in January.

The condition required me to seek follow-up treatment and undergo physiotherapy sessions to relieve the pain and support the healing process. I informed my supervisor about my situation and sincerely apologized for my absence on that day.

I remain committed to resuming my duties as usual once my health has improved and stabilized.

On 14th April 2025, I carried out my regular tasks at the office, which involved inputting client information into the system. The data entered included the client's full name, identification number, takaful plan details, and other required information.

This task required a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure that no errors occurred during data entry. The activity helped me gain a clearer understanding of the workflow related to client information management within the takaful industry.

On 16th April 2025, I re-registered for the Takaful Basic Examination (TBE) after not passing on my first attempt. The registration was completed online with a fee of RM80.

After completing the registration process, I continued with my daily tasks by entering client information into the system as instructed. I performed the task carefully to ensure that all data entered was accurate and complete.

Today’s experience gave me renewed motivation to prepare more effectively for the upcoming examination while continuing to gain practical experience through my daily responsibilities.

On 14th April 2025, I carried out office tasks involving the entry and organization of staff data into designated files. The updated data included personal information, job positions, and details related to assignments or attendance.

This activity helped me understand the importance of well-organized staff record management and provided valuable exposure to the internal documentation processes of an organization. It also trained me to be more detail-oriented and systematic in handling information.

On 15th April 2025, I continued my responsibilities as a Personal Assistant (PA) by entering client information into the Enronment system. I ensured that all details including full name, identification number, phone number, and type of takaful plan were entered accurately and completely.

This task helped me become more proficient in using the Enronment system and enhanced my skills in customer data management within a real working environment.

During my industrial training, I was entrusted by my boss to identify, manage, and record information related to both personal and professional accounts such as Gmail, Facebook (FB), and Instagram (IG) for communication and business content management purposes.

This task required a high level of trust and gave me valuable exposure to the professional and ethical management of social media and email accounts in a real working environment.

On 21st April 2025, in conjunction with the Hari Raya season, I took the opportunity to visit friends and celebrate together. This activity was done outside of working hours and aimed to strengthen personal bonds while embracing the festive spirit with those around me.

Although there were no official tasks on this day, the experience provided positive value in terms of social connection and a sense of togetherness, which are important in building healthy networks, including in the professional world.

On 22nd April 2025, I continued my regular tasks by entering client information into the Family Takaful Certificate System. I carefully ensured that all details including full name, identification number, plan type, and coverage start date were recorded accurately and systematically.

Through this task, I have grown more confident and comfortable with the system, having developed a clearer understanding of the workflow involved. It also helped me strengthen my attention to detail in managing client data and provided deeper insight into the end-to-end process of preparing family takaful certificates.

On 23rd April 2025, I focused on revising key topics in preparation for my second attempt at the Takaful Basic Examination (TBE). I reviewed important areas such as the basic concepts of takaful, the differences between takaful and conventional insurance, Shariah principles, and service ethics within the industry.

The revision was done independently using notes, practice questions, and reference materials provided earlier. I am determined to approach this attempt with greater confidence and to strive for improved results in the upcoming examination.

On 24 April 2025, I sat for the Takaful Basic Examination (TBE) for the second time and successfully passed. This achievement is the result of my continuous efforts in revising, seeking guidance, and receiving consistent support and encouragement from my boss and colleagues at the office.

I am truly grateful and delighted to have passed this examination, as it is a key requirement to officially become a licensed takaful agent. This success has given me renewed motivation to continue learning and contributing actively throughout my industrial training.

On 25 April 2025, I was assigned to assist with the preparation of documents for PRUBSN Takaful clients. My main task for the day involved preparing and editing client proposal files based on the relevant information and selected plans.

I ensured that all details in the proposals were updated accurately, including client information, the chosen plan type, and the coverage amount. This task allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of takaful plan structures and how they are presented professionally to clients.

On 26 April 2025, I reported for work on a Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM to carry out office cleaning duties. The tasks included sweeping the floor, wiping desks, organizing documents, and ensuring the overall office space was neat and well-arranged.

This activity is part of a regular weekend routine and reflects my sense of responsibility in maintaining a clean and professional work environment. It also promotes teamwork among staff members and helps create a more comfortable and conducive workspace.

On 28 April 2025, I requested permission from my supervisor to attend a physiotherapy session from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM as part of my ongoing treatment for a previous leg injury. Alhamdulillah, my supervisor kindly granted the permission and showed understanding regarding my health condition.

After completing the physiotherapy session, I immediately reported to the office and resumed my duties as usual as a Personal Assistant (PA). Among the tasks I carried out were updating documents and inputting client information into the system, as instructed.

I strive to maintain a balance between attending to my health needs and fulfilling my work responsibilities to ensure both are managed effectively.

On 29 April 2025, I carried out a task by sending an official email to another company using my superior’s email account, as instructed by him. The email was written to request a presentation session regarding PRUBSN Takaful’s Protectionand Income Replacement products.

I composed the email using professional language, clearly stating the purpose of the presentation, providing a brief explanation of the products, and proposing a suitable time for the session. This task gave me valuable exposure to formal corporate communication and enhanced my confidence in organizing information for professional collaboration.

On 30 April 2025, I carried out my daily tasks by managing and executing several instructions given by my supervisor. These tasks included reviewing documents, organizing client-related files, and ensuring that important information was prepared as required.

I performed each task with a strong sense of responsibility and ensured that everything was completed within the given timeframe. This assignment helped me improve my time management skills, communication with superiors, and overall understanding of workflow as a Personal Assistant (PA).

In addition, I attended an internal Takaful training session to enhance my knowledge about the products and basic Takaful concepts such as protection, hibah, savings, and income replacement. Participation in this class helped me gain a clearer understanding of the functions and benefits of the Takaful plans offered to clients.

Attending this session also boosted my confidence in carrying out tasks related to marketing and communication with customers.

On 1 May 2025, I was not present at work as it was a public holiday in conjunction with Labour Day. This break provided an opportunity to rest from daily tasks and to appreciate the contributions of workers across various sectors, including the Takaful industry.

I used this time to recharge and reorganize my work schedule in order to return to duty with greater focus and renewed motivation.

On 8 May 2025, I carried out an office task involving data editing in a Microsoft Excel file, as instructed by my supervisor. After reviewing and updating the information, I proceeded to print the document for submission to my supervisor for reference or presentation purposes.

This task helped me enhance my skills in using Microsoft Excel and familiarized me with preparing neat and professional documents to meet organizational needs.

On 9 May 2025, I carried out a task involving the editing of a promotional poster based on my supervisor’s instructions. I made improvements in terms of layout, text, colour, and visuals to ensure the poster appeared more attractive, clear, and suitable for Takaful marketing purposes.

This task helped me sharpen my graphic design skills and enhanced my understanding of the importance of effective visuals in conveying messages to customers in a professional manner.

On 12 April 2025, I carried out a task involving the review and monitoring of staff TPC (Total Production Credit) performance in the system. The purpose of this review was to obtain updated information on individual staff achievements and to ensure the data remained current for my supervisor’s reference.

This task helped me gain a better understanding of performance evaluation methods in the Takaful industry and provided exposure to the internal system used for tracking sales and staff achievements.

In addition, on the same day, I treated the staff to a meal as a gesture of appreciation and to strengthen camaraderie among colleagues. This activity fostered a more friendly and harmonious working environment within the team.

On that day, I also attended a brief sharing session with the leader at the office, where he shared strategies and tips on how to secure clients in the Takaful industry. Key points discussed included effective communication techniques, building trust with clients, and approaches to identifying prospects’ needs.

This sharing session was very beneficial as it provided real insights into the challenges and opportunities involved in client acquisition. It also boosted my confidence to apply the knowledge gained in future tasks.

On that day, we welcomed new staff members who joined our team at the office. To celebrate their arrival, a casual introductory session was held involving all staff and interns.

During the session, the new staff introduced themselves, shared their backgrounds, and talked about their interests. This session not only helped strengthen relationships among team members but also fostered a friendlier and more harmonious work environment. I had the opportunity to get to know new colleagues and share my internship experiences with them.

Today, I attended a learning session focused on the benefits of the PRUBSN Takaful plan, which includes medical protection, hibah (Islamic gift), and critical illness coverage. This knowledge is essential for enabling me to recommend suitable plans based on clients’ specific needs.

In addition, I also completed tasks assigned by my supervisor on the same day. I ensured that each task was completed efficiently without disrupting the learning process. Through this experience, I was able to practise time management skills and demonstrate my ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Today also marked a meaningful milestone in my career journey, as I officially received my PRUBSN Takaful agent code. Becoming a certified PRUBSN Takaful agent is a significant first step in starting my professional career in the Takaful industry.

This morning, I attended a sharing session with the management team, including my supervisor and staff, discussing the direction and performance goals within the Takaful industry. The session provided a clear overview of strategies for achieving both individual and group targets, emphasizing the importance of discipline, consistency, and professional client management.

The sharing session was not only motivating but also offered valuable insights into the working culture within the Takaful industry. It highlighted the importance of setting realistic short-term and long-term goals. This experience encouraged me to be more proactive and focused in striving for excellent performance as a new Takaful agent.

This morning, I attended a sharing session with the management team, including my supervisor and fellow staff members. The session focused on the direction and performance objectives within the Takaful industry. It provided a clear overview of strategies for achieving both individual and team targets, while emphasizing the importance of discipline, consistency, and professional client management.

The session was not only inspiring, but also provided valuable insights into the workplace culture of the Takaful industry. It reinforced the importance of setting realistic short-term and long-term goals. This experience has motivated me to become more proactive and focused in my efforts to achieve outstanding performance as a new Takaful agent.

On Friday, the company’s routine began with a Yasin recitation session involving all staff and Takaful agents. This weekly activity is held to nurture spiritual values, strengthen bonds among colleagues, and seek blessings in work and business matters.

After the Yasin session, all staff resumed their respective duties, including activities related to Takaful operations. This practice positively contributes to a calmer, more motivated, and focused working environment, while promoting a balanced work culture that integrates professionalism with religious values.

Today, I participated with other staff members in a workplace cleaning activity conducted from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The activity involved cleaning workspaces, reorganizing documents, maintaining office equipment, and ensuring a more organized and conducive working environment.

Through this activity, I learned the importance of maintaining workplace cleanliness as a shared responsibility within an organization. It also fostered teamwork among staff and contributed to a more comfortable and professional working atmosphere.

Today, I joined the staff and employer in a casual discussion regarding the company’s planned vacation to Redang Island, Terengganu. The discussion covered proposed dates, travel itinerary, and the activities planned throughout the trip.

Although the discussion was informal, it played an important role in strengthening the relationship between staff and management. It also reflected the employer’s concern for employee welfare and the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Activities like this can help boost motivation, foster teamwork, and promote a more harmonious and positive working environment.

Today, I began my tasks by assisting with duties assigned by my supervisor, Mr. Nizam. The tasks included managing client documents, printing promotional materials, and organizing data in the company’s system. These responsibilities helped me better understand real office operations and the importance of completing tasks with precision and care.

After completing my office tasks, I took part in an outdoor activity known as Direct Approach (DA) at Aeon Mall Bukit Tinggi, Klang. I joined my teammates from Banting to Klang, and we returned together after the activity. During this session, I approached members of the public to introduce and promote Takaful products. At first, I felt a bit nervous, but over time I became more confident and comfortable. I learned how to communicate in a friendly, clear, and convincing manner.

In conclusion, I learned two important lessons today:

1. How to manage office tasks properly and follow instructions carefully.

2. How to face the public confidently and improve communication skills.

In the evening, I attended a class focused on Takaful products and an introduction to the Faraid (Islamic inheritance) system. During the session, I gained deeper insights into the benefits of Takaful plans and how the distribution of assets through Faraid works in accordance with Islamic principles.

This knowledge is highly valuable in preparing me to provide accurate and clear explanations to clients, especially on topics related to hibah, heirs, and Islamic financial planning.

Today, I was once again given the opportunity to be involved in the recruitment process for Takaful agents. This marked the second time I successfully brought in someone to join the career as an agent under Mr. Nizam’s team.

After the candidate agreed to join, I assisted Mr. Nizam in registering the individual for the Takaful Basic Examination (TBE), which is a mandatory requirement before becoming a licensed agent. I also learned how to manage the registration process through the company’s official system used for new agent candidates.

This second experience gave me a deeper understanding and greater confidence in executing the recruitment and registration process correctly. I am now more familiar with the company’s internal system and the necessary procedures involved.

Conclusion:

Today’s experience was very valuable in understanding agent recruitment and system management. I learned that consistency and confidence are key in attracting people to be part of the Takaful industry.

On 14 May, a highly beneficial session was held under the initiative of my supervisor, Mr. Nazri. He invited Ms. Nadira, an experienced professional in the Takaful field, to share her knowledge and motivation with the staff and agents from three SSG Banting units under PRUBSN Takaful.

During the session, Ms. Nadira shared valuable insights that inspired everyone present. She talked about the ongoing contest and the rewards available to agents who achieve their set targets. This sharing session significantly boosted staff motivation and encouraged them to work harder and stay focused on their goals.

The team was visibly enthusiastic and happy to see their achievements highlighted and appreciated. The session concluded with a group photo with Ms. Nadira and the entire team, serving as both a memorable moment and a symbol of team strength and unity.

Conclusion:
Today, I learned the importance of external motivation and appreciation in enhancing team morale. Sessions like these not only provide knowledge but also strengthen bonds between team members and leaders. I also saw firsthand how strong team spirit can lead to greater success in the Takaful industry.

Today, I began my tasks by completing a product assessment using a colleague’s iPad. This assessment is a mandatory requirement before I can submit client cases into the PRUBSN Takaful system. It is an important step to ensure that I fully understand the products being offered to clients.

After completing the assessment, I also took a personal photo required for uploading into the system as part of my agent profile. This image will be used for verification purposes and is one of the essential steps in becoming a registered and active agent under the PRUBSN system.

I then continued with my usual daily tasks, assisting Mr. Nizam as a personal assistant (PA). Whenever assigned responsibilities such as file management, document printing, or data checking, I completed them to the best of my ability.

Conclusion:
Today, I learned about the key procedures involved in agent registration and verification, including completing the product assessment and preparing an official profile photo. Additionally, I continued building my confidence and discipline in handling administrative tasks assigned by my supervisor.

Today, I completed a task assigned by Mr. Nizam, which involved editing and updating files using Microsoft Excel. I was given the responsibility to contact 30 strangers (individuals I had not previously known) to deliver a short presentation about the importance of Takaful plans. This activity tested my ability to communicate in a professional, friendly, and persuasive manner over the phone.

Although it was quite challenging, I considered it a very valuable training opportunity to build self-confidence and enhance my skills in marketing and customer service.

Conclusion:
Today, I learned how to manage files more efficiently using Excel and how to communicate professionally with the public via phone calls. I realized that in this field, technical skills and communication skills are equally important for success as a Takaful agent.

In the morning, I attended a product class with my team leader, where detailed explanations were given on the benefits of PRUBSN Takaful products. This session helped me gain a deeper understanding of the types of protection offered, the advantages of each plan, and how to explain them to clients in a simple and clear manner. The knowledge I gained is extremely valuable in preparing me to become a more confident and knowledgeable Takaful agent.

After the class, I continued with my regular tasks as instructed by Mr. Nizam. These tasks included file management, document checking, and other administrative duties that needed to be completed based on priority.

Once I completed those assignments, I proceeded with making phone calls to prospects including strangers, acquaintances, and family members with the goal of securing appointments for product presentations. I briefly shared the importance of Takaful and focused on getting opportunities to present the full plan to them.

Today, I learned that having strong product knowledge is essential before meeting with clients. In addition, I continued developing my communication skills and ability to secure appointments with various types of prospects. It was a valuable training experience to build my confidence in the Takaful industry.

In the morning, I carried out my usual tasks at the office. I reviewed documents, assisted with administrative duties, and ensured that all assignments given were completed efficiently before noon.

At midday, I returned home briefly to prepare for a special event – the Takaful Agent Award Ceremony held at Hotel KSL Esplanade. The event brought together many outstanding agents who achieved high Total Premium Case (TPC)records. I felt truly fortunate to witness their success firsthand.

Through this event, I gained fresh inspiration and motivation to keep striving in the Takaful field. I learned that hard work, discipline, and commitment are essential to achieving greater success. The atmosphere was vibrant, energizing, and filled with positivity. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session as a memorable highlight.

Conclusion:
Today, I not only carried out my regular office duties but was also given the opportunity to attend a recognition event for successful agents. It motivated me to continue learning, work harder, and build a confident future in the Takaful industry.

Today, I had the opportunity to join a session with Boss Nazri and several team leaders. The session was conducted to uplift and motivate Takaful agents to keep striving toward their respective targets.

During the session, the boss and leaders shared success tips, real-life experiences in the Takaful industry, and words of encouragement to remind agents not to give up easily. The atmosphere was very positive, filled with motivational messages that boosted my self-confidence as an intern still learning the ropes of this industry.

Today, I applied for leave to attend the Dean’s Award Ceremony at my university in recognition of my academic achievement. I travelled from Selangor back to Kelantan to be part of this meaningful and memorable event.

Even while on leave, I took the initiative to continue fulfilling my responsibilities as an intern and Takaful agent. After the ceremony, I conducted a Direct Approach (DA) activity independently in the surrounding area. I introduced Takaful products to several individuals, explained the benefits of financial protection, and collected prospect information for follow-up actions.

This was my first time conducting DA solo, and it greatly boosted my confidence and courage in engaging with the public on my own. It also reflected my dedication to my internship, despite being away from the office.

Conclusion:

Today gave me two meaningful experiences receiving recognition for academic excellence and strengthening my courage and initiative in Takaful marketing. I learned that success comes when we dare to step out of our comfort zone and remain consistent in our efforts, no matter where we are.

After the Yasin session, it was followed by a brief sharing session by the boss or selected staff, delivering messages of motivation, industry experiences, and reminders to stay consistent in achieving work targets.

As part of our regular Saturday routine, I reported to the office to carry out weekly office cleaning activities. Only personal assistants (PAs) were present today — myself as PA to En. Nizam, and my colleague Najwa, PA to En. Nazri.

We carried out cleaning tasks such as sweeping, wiping desks, tidying up the meeting room, and ensuring the entire office space remains clean and comfortable for use in the upcoming week.

I learned that maintaining workplace cleanliness is a shared responsibility within any organization. This task also taught me the importance of teamwork and being mindful of creating a conducive and professional working environment.

On Monday morning, I attended a follow-up physiotherapy session for my leg injury. Prior to this, I informed En. Nizam and En. Nazri about arriving late to the office due to the appointment, which took place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

After completing the session, I returned to the office before noon and resumed my duties as a Personal Assistant (PA)and Takaful agent. My tasks included making follow-up phone calls and reaching out to friends and acquaintances to set appointments for product presentations takaful plan

I learned the importance of communicating effectively with supervisors regarding schedule adjustments, while still maintaining responsibility and commitment to my tasks. Balancing health needs with work obligations also taught me to manage time efficiently and stay focused on my goals.

In the morning, I carried out my duties as a personal assistant (PA) by organizing and saving client enrollment documents using the iPad provided.

In the afternoon, I focused on making phone calls to clients and successfully secured 3 to 4 presentation appointments. These appointments gave me the opportunity to present and explain the benefits of Takaful plans to potential clients, and they responded positively.

He explained the recent increases in medical costs and hospital bills, along with key information that agents can use when advising clients about the importance of having adequate medical protection.

Today, I learned that listening to team members' success stories can be a great source of inspiration and guidance. I also gained valuable insights into current healthcare costs, which are crucial when educating clients about the need for medical coverage through Takaful.

Today, while waiting for further instructions from Mr. Nizam, I took the initiative to carry out tasks as an agent.

I also shared promotional posters regarding medical cards through various media platforms to increase awareness and engagement. After securing an appointment, I prepared a quotation for my client based on their insurance needs.

In the second half of the day, I attended a product knowledge class led by our team leader along with new agents. This session was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Nazri and provided valuable insights into the features and benefits of our insurance products.

Today, I was actively involved in both administrative and field agent work. I improved my communication skills through phone interactions and learned how to present Takaful offerings in a friendly and professional way. This experience also taught me how to approach potential clients confidently.

Today's morning session began with a sharing session by our leader, Kak Balqis, who shared insights about the importance of contacting in the takaful field. She also introduced an exciting contest from PRUBSN, where agents who successfully increase their TPC (Total Premium Collected) have the opportunity to win incentive trips to Japan and Surabaya. This sharing was very motivating and inspiring.

After that, we continued with an activity to improve our master presentation in pairs, guided by two mentors. The aim was to enhance our communication and public speaking skills.

In the afternoon, I carried out my tasks as a takaful agent by reaching out to potential clients via phone calls, chats, and direct messages (DMs). This was done while waiting for further instructions from En. Nizam.

On the second last day of my internship, I was assigned to carry out tasks as a takaful agent, focusing specifically on making phone calls to potential clients, mainly from among my personal network — friends and family members. The goal was to briefly introduce the takaful protection plans and arrange appointments for further discussions.

This activity significantly improved my confidence and communication skills, especially in handling conversations professionally even with people I personally know. I learned how to present information clearly, build rapport, and respond to questions with patience and clarity.

In the afternoon, I successfully secured an appointment with one of my friends, who expressed interest in learning more about takaful, medical card benefits, and hibah as future financial protection. During the session, I explained the importance of early planning, the coverage provided by medical cards, and how hibah can be a useful tool for estate planning and family security.

This opportunity allowed me to apply what I’ve learned in a real client setting, and it reinforced the importance of product knowledge, empathy, and trust when dealing with potential clients.

Overall, today’s experience was both meaningful and motivating. As my internship approaches its final day, I feel more prepared to engage with clients and contribute positively in the takaful industry.

On my final day of internship at Prudential BSN Takaful, all staff members, including myself, gathered early in the morning for a Yasin recitation session, which is a weekly routine held to start the day with blessings and positive energy. After the session, we continued with a morning sharing session led by one of the staff members and our branch manager, Mr. Nazri, who shared motivational insights and valuable experiences related to teamwork and client engagement.

Following that, I resumed my duties as a takaful agent, making phone calls to potential clients to arrange appointments and introduce protection plans, particularly focusing on medical coverage and financial planning.

In the afternoon, I joined Najwa, who is the personal assistant to Mr. Nazri, to help clean and organize the office. We cleaned various sections including the meeting room, workspaces, vacuumed the carpets, wiped down surfaces, and disposed of rubbish to ensure the office remained clean and welcoming.

Today was a meaningful conclusion to my internship journey. I not only gained knowledge and skills related to client handling and takaful products but also learned the importance of teamwork, discipline, and maintaining a professional work environment.
