 What this advertisement is really trying to tell the viewer is that Glassex Window Cleaner works so well that it almost seems invisible.

Photo Techniques:

Some techniques they used for the advertisement is that they used the colour blue. The colour blue gives the viewers a mysterious/spooky vibe. Therefore the audience is more curious about what the image means.

Magic Scotch tape is so strong that it can hold the weight of hay that is overloading the truck.

Photo Techniques:

The truck and surrounding is based in a third world environment whereas the Scotch Magic Tape is a modern addition to the picture. The image also shows how the hay is bigger and the most vivid part of the image but the tape is still carrying all of the hay and the truck can support the weight even if they hay is much larger and heavier.

The picture has a plate with a plain cardboard shaped egg and bacon with no evidence of flavour. Beside the plate there is a fork and knife.

The implicit Message:

If you don’t have Heinz with your food, there will be no taste or flavour. Heinz ketchup will add “colour” to the food.

The techniques used were; they used dull colours (for example eggs, bacon, plate) on everything else except their product. When only adding colour to their product, it makes it stand out and look more attractive or appetizing in this case.
