Five years ago, my mum went camping by herself. She packed only a backpack and took a bus to cross to Chile from Mendoza. She has always loved fishing, so she found a lake and took her fishing stick and caught the biggest fish she´d ever seen! Later, she ate it and said it was delicious! At night, she slept in a tent and had to wear repellent against mosquitoes. Also, she tried to chop wood with a local person  but she wasn´t able to. However, she became friends with this local person and he invited her to stay up all night trying to build and maintain a fire as a challenge. She did it and said it was awesome!

A few years ago, I went to a safari in South Africa. There, I visited a National Park and I got to see so many animals like giraffes, lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, , hippos and even gorillas! I wanted to touch all of them, however, the ranger warned me not to because some of them might be dangerous. Last month, my sister went to Bariloche with her husband and her kids. They stayed in a cabbin because they thought it would be more comfortable than a hotel. The weather was nice but really freezing! They had to wear lots of clothes. They were so cold they had to drink hot cocoa to warm up their bodies. After that, they went trekking in the most important mountain in Bariloche. Also, they encountered an old friend and he invited them to a campfire with his family. They ate marshmellows all night long and told very frightnening stories. They had an incredible time!

Two years ago, my family and I went to Punta Cana, which is in the Dominican Republic. We stayed for two weeks and it was terrible! The hotel wasn´t as good as it looked in the pictures even though it was really expensive. They wouldn´t even give us towels to go to the beach! On the ocean there were a lot of jellyfish which I don´t particularly enjoy. I wanted to see starfishes! Also the beach was very dirty and I couldn´t collect any shells since people threw garbage everywhere. I wasn´t able to build any sandcastle either and I had to wear sunglasses all the time. I had a horrible time and I never want to go back!

Last year, Julie and her cousin went to Paris. They decided to book a flight and then, they travelled the next day! In Paris they had so much fun! They visited museums such as the Louvre and also they bought lots of souvenirs for their family and friends. They decided to stay in a hostel because it was cheaper than a hotel. There, they met many interesting people from all over the world like Chinese, Japanese, Australian and even people from Israel! Even though they didn´t have much money, they brought what they could and exchanged at the bank in France. With that money, they went out every other night. They stayed for a week, which turned out to be the best week of their lives!
