         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>How does the use of repetition and colloquial language convey the stereotypes the speaker faces?</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The poet uses repetition&nbsp;in the poem in response to the stereotypes she encounters, as seen in lines 1 through 10 of stanza 1. When someone asks about the author, she responds, "No, I am not Chinese."
