  • How are hate speech and microaggressions showing up in classrooms today?
  • How are teachers, staff and the community responding? Is it consistent among buildings? Do students feel safe and supported? What do restorative justice practices look like in your building?
  • Do you think it would be helpful if there were a district level policy and procedure for how to respond to hate speech?
  • In what ways can our school community change or take action to reduce incidents of hate speech and also reduce harm when they do occur?
