This will be the result of Josef getting caught and ending up in a concentration camp. However, he will be accompanied by people close in his life and he will find a way to escape the pernicious camp.
 
I postulate that Isabelle will loose many loved ones along her journey on the raft. The raft will turn over and will cause many deserting with her to fall into the water and pass away from immersing into the deep ocean. However, Isabelle will reminisce the support of her loved ones. Thus, encouraging her to move forward and seek refuge.

And last but not least, Mahmoud will be the one to face severe injuries from the serious conditions in Syria. He will seek refuge by proceeding on a elongated journey to safety. Mahmoud will successfully escape the harrowing conflict but has had to make many sacrifices along the way.

Isabel will take one of the boats to get free from the Cuba government
,because the Cuba's government in 1994 was a terrible and they were sending the army around the country instead of guarding it.

Mahmoud trip form Syria to Europe
must have been painful because in that time Syria was at war, so maybe Mahmoud had to take part in it, or maybe he had to run across war fields to get the refugee camp in Europe.

Overall I believe that all 3 children will face discrimination and loss of hope but they will have to live with it in order to survive and have freedom. This story describes how 3 children will have to fight through life and death.

Mahmoud and Waleed - Syria 2015: I feel like next it will be Waleed getting beat up and and this will cause Mahmoud to become unstable and crave vengeance on the boys, and I think when they're beating up another kid, his anger will boil up to the peak and he'll explode on them and beat the boys potentially to death; if not to death, almost, and then he'll go home with blood on his hands and his mother will freak out.
