         <title>Phrenology </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Date: 3/02/17<br>Aim: To see if Phrenology was accurate.&nbsp;<br>Reflection: we were given a sheet of paper that had a lot of personality traits on it. Each person would choose which 5 related to them the most, then chose a partner. Using the pseudoscience Phrenology, with our partner, by rubbing their head and identifying the bumps and dents in the head to identify personality traits and behaviour. As partners, we tried to guess each others personality traits using Phrenology.&nbsp;<br>Ella and I both got 1 trait out of 5.<br>It wasn't very accurate seeings as its a pseudoscience.&nbsp;<br>I do not think that Phrenology is an accurate and I believe that it should stay considered as a pseudoscience.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>The Robot Task</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Date: 17/2/17<br>Aim: To see if there was an ability to buckle shoes with no vision, no hearing and no sense of feeling (touch).<br>Hypothesis: I believe that the slowest way to buckle shoed will be with no sense of touch. &nbsp;<br>Results: The slowest way to buckle your shoes is so take away your sense of touch. When the sense of sight and hearing was taken away, it was not as slow.&nbsp;<br>Reflection: My hypothesis was correct. There was one flaw and that was that one of my buckles was slightly broken so it made it a little more difficult.&nbsp;<br>Independent variable: sensory input removed<br>Dependent variable: time to buckle shoes.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Nervous System Drawing </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Date: 21/2/17&nbsp;<br>Aim: To replicate the nervous system in a drawing form.&nbsp;<br>Hypothesis: A drawing will be done of the nervous system including all parts necessary.<br>Reflection: The body of Liv was traced onto a big sheet of paper. Then the following was included into the drawing including brief descriptions about each section and NS.<br>- CNS&nbsp;<br>- PNS&nbsp;<br>- motor movement&nbsp;<br>- 4 organs/glands<br>- senses<br>This helped with the understanding of the content in the way that you got a life size visual representation of everything so it gave a better idea of where everything was and the scale of everything. <br><br>below is a picture of our creating, including all necessary tasks.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Date: 27/2/17<br>Aim: To make 1 neuron and 3 glial cells made out of candy with labelling and brief descriptions.<br>Hypothesis: There will be 4 candy made cells and neurons with labels and brief descriptions.&nbsp;<br>Reflection: From this I have gotten a better understanding of how the neurons and glial cells. By making them and re-re-writing the definitions, I have wired it into my brain a little more.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Eye Dissection </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Date: 25/7/17<br>Thoughts: Something that stood out to me when completing the eye dissection was how tough it was to cut into, the bright opal colours in the retina and the magnification of the lens when putting it up to magazines. <br>Understanding: The eye dissection helped with my understanding by getting a better idea of how big everything is and where is all is compared to just looking at pictures. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Binocular Depth Cues </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Date: 31/7/17&nbsp;<br>Convergence - Used to percieve depth by detecting distance and the tension in the eye muscles allow us to focus on objects that are close. A test for convergence is to hold your finger out in front of your face and slowly move it towards the top of your nose. You will notice that there is increasing tension in your eyes, this is convergence.&nbsp;<br><br>Retinal Disparity - Each retina shows a different image of what we are looking at by the angle of which we are seeing it.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
