Just checking on whether we have to include who developed the scales when talking about the others one included in the readings, such as the Beck Depression Inventory. Can we just include the name and what is did or must we include the developer?

Regarding predictions for the perfectionism/big 5 correlations, what exactly are we predicting? Is it just whether the relationship will be significant or should we predict the entire correlation equation?

When we are describing findings from the previous literature (in the short paragraphs), do we need to give specific numbers/the formula, or is saying something like "a significant positive correlation was found between A and B" sufficient? (assuming that positive correlations have already been explained, so Uncle Badger would understand that sentence). Thank you!

When I am explaining to Uncle Badger the F-MPS-Brief, do I need to give example questions for both of the sub-scales, or will one example question, that measures either evaluative concern or personal standards, suffice?

i wanted to ask how formatting would work if the structure of the assignment is a letter. should we still indent on each paragraph if we're intending to begin with something like "dear uncle badger..." or would everything be to one side? i'm also not sure how apa referencing with the headings would look if the letter format is retained until the end where we sign off.

I have a question regarding the grading...

Since there isn’t a rubric, I was wondering what typically distinguishes higher grades from lower ones. I understand the difference in quality between, for example, an A and a C, but I’m less clear on what separates an A from an A+, or an A from A-.

Beyond meeting all the requirements in the brief, are there particular things that tend to lead to higher marks, such as clarity of explanation, depth of understanding, structure, or style? Is there a way to ensure we are demonstrating these effectively in our writing?

Any guidance on how to aim for the tippy top grade range would be really helpful!

to make it easier for markers to read, would you like us to add headers before the paragraphs so it is easier to navigate? e.g a heading for previous readings, results, method.... ect?

also, is it okay practice our APA presenting skills by adding a cover letter, indents ect, or does that take away from it being a informal letter?

When I am talking about previous literature/referring to the results that they found, not in the previous literature summary paragraph, do I need to cite this info? Specifically, when I am making my predictions and reference a study as the basis for this prediction, e.g., "Study 1 found a significant negative correlation between A and B, therefore ... (citation)." I have assumed yes, but thought I would check as I'm trying to get my word count down.

1. Are we meant to cite the scales they have used in the previous readings or simply mention them in full form when describing the method and move on? If so, great.

2. If we are meant to cite them explicitly, when we refer to them, would we be putting them under the same in-text citation for the study they were used in? e.g. Egan et al. uses PANPS, so would we cite that as falling under the same in text citation for Egan et al. or as a secondary citation from Egan et al. to include where those researchers actually got it from? I feel it would make sense to do the former as it is part of their method, but the more I read the answers on here, the more confused I get, so I thought I'd clear all my doubts in one question.

Like can I call the Evaluative concern subscale as EC scale i want to cut down some of my words and the scale names are taking lots of space 😅

When we are discussing the Big 5 personality traits, do we have to capitalise the names of them? I have capitalised them when introducing the TIPI but I haven't when discussing them in the rest of the letter, is that okay?

Is it okay if my letter's structure deviates, slightly, from the Uncle B Brief, or must everything strictly be in the exact order of points addressed?
