There is no perfect curriculum - invest in PD

Instructional routines...like we have in math and ELA (current events, timelines, etc - check Refletions for ideas)
Benchmark should be looked at...it might say SS standards but sometimes misses the mark. Not all Benchmark is cultraully responsive
