         <title>Cahokia-700-1500 CE</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Cahokia people built what they called the Cahokia mounds. These were somewhat religious structures and burial sites for people of importance in there community. Cahokia was placed strategically so that they could maintain trade links with many other settlements. The Cahokians seemed to live in fear and were in the habit of blocking out the outside world. I think that is why they were able to maintain a pretty peaceful government.</div>]]></description>
