I think that our garden has really grown a lot throughout this year. We started off with seeds in dirt or and in some cases in the Tower Gardens. Over time we developed leaves, and then all of the color came in! It came in by flowers blooming, strawberries and even eggplants growing. All of these things and more is what makes our garden colorful and unique. I feel as though everyone planted something that represents their personality in a way. For example I planted sunflowers and sunflowers are known for facing the sun, as well as being very bright. My sunflowers have grown a lot since I have planted them. As you can see from the picture to the right, my sunflowers have grown tall and some of them have grown full flowers. They have grown a lot since we started the garden and I am very proud of my work. That is what I have gained from being a part of the garden community!

Tower gardens are a very innovative way to grow plants. The towers have chemicals in them that makes the plants grow faster, and better tasting. They can help decrease climate change because regular plants are sprayed with pesticides to keep bugs away that are bad for Earth, while the tower garden uses sticky sheets to keep the bugs out. Pesticides are also sprayed on plants to help them grow faster, and that is no problem in the tower garden. One other thing that may be causing pollution that is not happing with the tower gardens is that to harvest these crops, people use big machinery such as tractors. Tractors use oil, and releases a lot of carbon dioxide. The tower garden does not need these things, and will decrease the amount of carbon in the air. One last thing that the tower garden does, is that it does not take up very much space, and everyone could do it! That is how Tower Gardens can help the environment.
