I am currently an ESWOCHY student studying to master social work but especially as regards to practising with children and youth. I am really passionate about youth work and social justice for underrepresented and marginalized groups. When I am not actively learning in class or researching amongst other things, I am working virtually with my NGO in Nigeria known as The Girl A Nation (TGAN) and this is made possible with digital tools like Zoom, google workplace, meet, Canva, Chatgpt, social media, etc.

like most people, the usage of technology is part of my everyday life, although I try hard to limit my screen time and the use of digital devices.

In my social work practice, the usage of technology started from: registering clients in the system, documenting sessions in software, conducting annual evaluations, using AI for intervention plans, and creating presentations for case reviews.

I love reading, hiking, playing volleybal and team sports as well as hanging out with my friends. Regarding my use of digital technologies, I think thought I used them I don't really navigate that much or even post most of the time. Though I love to use different tools and technologies to design materials to teach and to adapt to each kid needs and skills.

I am curious about learning languages for which I use different tools and technology. I love to live and experience different countries and cultures especially small towns.

In my free time, I love to travel, spend time with friends, and be in nature. I especially enjoy the hills and mountains, which makes Ružomberok a perfect place for me! Sometimes, I also just enjoy doing nothing, which in my opinion, is very, very important.

I believe that in contemporary society, digital skills are crucial, and access to the internet and technology should be considered a basic right of every citizen. Nowadays, if a person doesn’t have access, they might become isolated.

I'm from Türkiye. I studied pre-school teaching before this master program. So, Im actually a teacher. During my Bachelor's degree, I did lots of voluntaring. Those experiences gave me the inspiration and motivation to change and do something in this world, especially for the good of children. Thats why Im here now and I'm studying social work.

I love travelling, discovering new restaurants and cafes, and watching movies/TV series. Also, I really like to learn and talk about history, politics and different cultures.

I believe that my digitial skill is still not enough for today’s world but Im trying to improve my skills. Over the last year, I've started using many apps and programs, especially AI, more frequently and efficiently for my studies. In my daily life, I spend too much times on apps (unfortunately not on duolingo kinda apps but instagram...). I'm trying to reduce this time or transfer it to more useful digital tools.

I have had a deep passion for digital technologies since my undergraduate studies, when I worked on assessing the ICT competence of teachers as my project work. Later, I initiated personal projects on digital safety and skills training for children, young people, and rural women. These experiences have shaped my interest, and now my research is focused on digital social work with youth.

In my daily life, I try to stay up to date with the latest technology. I enjoy working with digital data visualization, organizing information, and doing some designs.

I worked on a project basis in a different setting. Since 2016, I went to a disaster area, worked and lived in rehabilitation center or travel to remote area to trained volunteer for community development project. Then, COVID struck and I unexpectedly landed as a facilitator for lifelong learning project in three different ed tech startup.

I love to create something fun using technology, such as creating quiz for ice breaking. Related to technology, I would rate myself as a curious person who love to learn something new.

In my free time, I enjoy watching reels or shorts about cute animal, such as kitten and elephants. By the way, several elephants in our national park are soo famous in Instagram and my favorite one is Domang from Tesso Nilo National Park
