Normal Distribution is a bell-shaped graph that represents the distribution of data. They're symmetrical, and the mean and standard deviations are all equal. Anything more than two standard deviations away from the mean is considered and outlier.

Overall, I learned how to calculate standard deviation and how to draw a normal distribution graph. I don't know the purpose of it, but it was pretty cool. I didn't have any struggles, except the fact that I didn't know how to calculate standard deviation on the calculator until the day of the test. I don't know about my growth, but this unit was pretty cool.

This is our class data on the period of pendulums with different string lengths. We changed it because the other factors didn't affect the period. We then plotted the data on desmos, with the parent function modeling the pendulum (f(x)= √x). We then multiplied the output (√x) by a number to vertically stretch the graph. Our function that modeled the class data was f(x)= 13√x. We also found f(30)= 13√30. Thus, the rat chews through the rope in 60 seconds, and the pendulum would strike him in about 71 seconds, therefore the prisoner will survive.
