Joseph Tso is the third generation running the workshop and is now focusing on teaching Hong Kongers the art of hand painted porcelain.  

The work was listed on the Intangible cultural heritage list by the Hong Kong government in 2018, which made people more aware of the art. There are fewer and fewer painters left, and Tso wants younger people to learn the art so it can live on. His workshop is therefore open for anyone to visit and learn. Customers comes from all over the world and of all ages to admire the handcraft.  

His customer portfolio is variated from celebrities to five-star hotels to normal people. He can get customers custom made porcelain or they can order the motif they already have in stock. The style of the porcelain has also changed over time which the workshop is adapting to. They also do collaborations with brands that have a young target to interact with a younger customer group.
