I like the Would You Rather modules- these can be used as a brain break or to get students thinking towards different opinions and how other students may think as well.

I have chosen TODAY'S NUMBER, because it's a good way to start a class. I could use it as a warm up to introduce a topic or to make students talk about our previous concepts. I would probably give the students a ratio (for example 3 : 2) and the students must describe different real-life situations that can be represented with this ratio. Ex: for every 3 boys in this classroom there are 2 girls.

In the example they have chose. I would use it in the classroom by asking how to turn a percentage into a decimal and give my students some time to figure it by having them come to the board. If they have gotten it wrong or right I would make it aware that they have got it either wrong or right. Then break it down to when they understand it and continue to solve for the problem and show them more then just on strategy to use. Or I would put them in partners for discussion about what strategy help them solve the problem or what strategy they prefer.
