Today we can say we took off! It was a great launch and I am looking forward to working on this project.

 

Mr Conrad, Ms Salerno and myself met at Mariam Al Batool School, Paola and we were introduced to the class.

 

Mr Conrad gave an introduction on the use of robots in everyday life and how technology will eventually replace human resources, hence the importance of  being able to use technology well whatever the students' profession will eventually be. This led to how 3D printers can be used for entire projects, ranging from construction to chocolate making in real life.  Videos were shown to help the students understand better.

 

The students were then led to what their project will entail, from the moment go to the actual selling of the product. Entrepreneurship skills were also discussed which tied with what the class teacher had been doing with them in previous projects. 

 

It was concluded that the students will think of a product to create and sell ( possibly from Minecraft or Fortnite or/and the making of keychains etc) by discussing amongst themselves and with other students in the school 

 

This project will promote project based learning  and it will certainly leave an impact on the students.
