With the Third tale, The monster was able to take control and help conor be noticed by people, but not in a good way. This forces conor to go up to harry and face him 1 on 1. In the text I expected the mother to be bald since she had cancer, but she had hair on top of her hair. I was also expecting for conor not to be so adventurous because he didn't explore much of the house in the story. I also imagined the monster to be different, I thought he wouldn't be as tall as he would be. When Conor explained to the mom that he'd be seeing a monster at night that looked like a tree, she wouldn't believe him in anyway. I thought she should have and let them try to focus out their problems together. It felt like when the mother got more sick the more distant Conor became to his mother, but some of his parental figures were stopping him from trying to help the mother so much.
