1. What is the history behind Veteran's Day?

2. Besides school being out of session, what does Veteran's Day mean to you?

1. Veterans Day's history is to celebrate the people who fought during world war 1. But, they changed it to celebrate everyone who fights before us and who are fighting right know.

2. You get to be with the people in your family who fought in the war, or who are fighting in the war right now. This day, you get to be with them, and finally sea them before they have to go back.

3. We celebrate by remembering everything that my great grandfather did during the war. If I saw someone who fought in any war, I would tell them, thank you for everything you did during the war.

1. Veterans Day is the appreciation for the people that fought during the war dead or still alive. And Veterans Day was originally called Armistice Day.

1. Veterans Day is to Appreciate what the Veterans that served and are serving to say Thank You. It was originally called Armistice Day.

2. It means respect and freedom to me.

3. What will I do? Me, My mom, My sister, and Nana go out to our family's grave sites that have served and we put American flags on their graves and say Thank You. When we get to my grandpa's grave I Thank him and tell him that I love him.

The sweet yet bedder history behind veteran's day is, that people have to give thanks to the people who served in the military forces for all there services the the nations.

In my own opinion about what veteran's day means to me I really think that veteran's day is a vary important to me i mean would would it I'm not from here I shouldn't really care, but I do I really think that people who have really fought for there own country even knowing that they might not see there own family any more if they are not lucky that I really do admire thous people I do and so I guest veteran's day to me it is important.

and how I would celebrate it is by maybe going around just giving a big congratulation on staying alive soldier...

1. The Veteran's who have fought for their countries didn't have a date to to celebrate them. So they put a day for people to celebrate them.

2. Veterans Day is where we get to celebrate for the people who have fought in the war for us.

3. In order for us to celebrate Veteran's Day we can thank them. We can be proud of them. I am just going to thank them in my head.

Veteran's day is to give thanks to the men and women how fault in the war and that was in the war.Also they tried to change the change the date of it so they could have a longer weekend. Veteran's day means to me is a day to show thanks for them fighting in the wars for me and all of us. I'm going to celebrate the day by spending time with my gram pall sens he was in the war.
