acknowledging gaps in knowledge or support requirements through formalised processes. Currently I find things out through conversations with friends, spying on FB conversations and through 'off the record' internal communications. Stakeholder engagement work needs to be a priority.

Interesting comment about the behaviour curriculum - saw this in the media but I am very concerned about the lack of visibility of general capabilities and wonder that this should not be embedded as well?

However philosophically it comes down to system management and a lack of power. Bigger question though is why are alternative education pathways growing? I don't know whose responsibility this is to solve. Student engagement comes through consideration of the whole child etc and this won't happen until we show universal support for all KLAs not just the dominant ones (sorry I'm getting off topic)

What is support? To the door - inside the door? If to the door then why? Clearly there is wriggle room as we have seen this year BUT if this is what our stakeholders want then why not help them? It is embarrassing when our stakeholders make comments about how little we do at NESA.
