Every student feels safe at school, especially those with a physical or mental health condition. School Nurses are present on each campus. Staff are trained to assist all students in their physical and/or mental health care. The student knows which staff can support and resources available. All staff should be trained on best practices to support the whole child!
I will continue to advocate for change to current policy and practices that do not support both the physical and mental health of all students.
