    Hatchet was a good book. Brian starts off in a plane when the pilot has a heart attack. When he crash-lands the only thing he has is the hatchet his mom gave him before he got in the plane. He goes out into the woods on his second day in a forest and found some berries. On another day while he was asleep a porcupine snuck in his shelter that was made out of wood and dry grass and he threw his hatchet at it and he missed. The hatchet hit the rock and it made a spark.( Of course he got pinned) In the morning he kept sparking the rock and in two hours he had a fire going. Many days later he makes a spear and a bow and arrow and goes to the lake and got his first fish he cooked it and ate it. After many days he killed a fool bird and rabbits and ate them. One day a moose shows up and kicks him a couple times. Soon as he got out and slept for around three hours a tornado hit, he survived. He made a new shelter, new weapons because he still had his hatchet which he used to make everything he has now. Two days later he goes into the water and he went in the plane to find a survival pack. When he found it, it was amazing, it had utensils, pots, fishing gear, and a emergency transmitter. It also came with dried up food which you had to heat up. He ate and suddenly a plane comes.
