         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Who:&nbsp; The SEA, LEA and TEA partners.<br><br>What:&nbsp; Creation of meaningful and sustainable partnerships.<br><br>When:&nbsp; Continuously<br><br>Where:&nbsp; At partner schools and various reservation physical settings.<br><br>How:&nbsp; Sharing of information, mutual respect and trust, reciprocity.<br><br>To wit:&nbsp; information sharing by partners on issues of mutual concern, where/how to access resources to address these issues, leveraging of resources by partners to achieve overall goals.&nbsp; Identification of positive parental engagement strategies that are effective in reaching particularly Native parents, effective teaching methodologies for Native students (place-based, relevant, culturally appropriate, historically accurate....).&nbsp; TEA needs support from LEA and SEA to create cultural pedagogy similar to NP that are appropriate for CSKT.&nbsp; Need support from tribal community to do this and outreach by LEA to help make it reality. &nbsp; Seek LEA/SEA support to reach out to the 5 other school districts on the Flathead Reservation to encourage them to sign on as STEP partner schools, with the goal of having all schools on the Reservation partners by the end of the&nbsp; 4 year project.&nbsp; Seek to make these sustainable beyond STEP funding. Also need to find ways to show STEP LEA partners tangible benefits.<br><br></div>]]></description>
