Therefore in adolescence, patients with BPDare often angry, impulsive, and quick to believe that other people have wronged them.&nbsp;<br><br>Young people with BPD can also often harm themselves and therefore have a high risk of suicide. Symptoms of BPD usually show up in the teenage years and early treatment and interventions can help people manage the disorder successfully.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>While there is no single cause of ASPD, there are a few factors that might increase someone's risk.<br><br>There are some biological factors as individuals with ASPD have been found to have unusual levels of serotonin; which is a chemical in the brain that regulates moods and feelings of happiness. Additionally someone's environment such as experiences of trauma and abuse during childhood can increase risk.&nbsp;<br><br>Furthermore genetics also do play a role which can predispose some individuals to develop ASPD. Other risk factors can also be as a result of lifestyle; as about half of people with ASPD also have problems with drug or alcohol abuse.</div>]]></description>

However, there is differing viewpoints that suggest that a child of a parent with HPD might simply be repeating learned behaviour.&nbsp;<br><br>Environmental aspects that might be a factor include a lack of criticism or punishment as a child, positive reinforcement that is given only when a child completes certain approved behaviours.
