Where my passion began

I began my passion to become a teacher as early as I can remember. I loved watching my mom teach in the classroom, and I wanted to be just like her. The idea of helping kids learn and being there for them fascinated me.

I looked up to my mom in so many ways as a teacher. She loves being creative for her students, and constantly comes up with fun ways for them to learn. She has always been so eager to watch her kids grow throughout the year, and that is exactly the kind of teacher I hope to be someday.

School Days

I am from Springdale, Arkansas and graduated from Har-Ber High School. I was also on the Har-Ber Silver Stars dance team.

I also worked at ASP which is an after school program in Springdale where I worked with Kindergarten and First graders during the school year. This also made me fall more in love with the idea of teaching someday.

Today

I went to the University of Arkansas and got a degree in Elementary Education. I also was a Chi Omega here which has given me a lot of opportunities for community service and meeting people with the same major!

I am so excited to start my dreams come true of becoming a teacher so soon!
