I say their name as they enter. Some of the students have even started greeting me in Spanish. I think that the idea of building respectful relationships with students may advance justice in that we are making sure all students are heard. As the teachers, we are setting examples of how adults talk interact. That means that we model how to respect and listen to each other's ideas.
