The first major fire broken out at the suwung TPA landfill site on thursday 12th October 2023. AS the mountain of trash keeps smouldering, more fires have broken out across the province. Many live on the perimeter of the landfill site and have been sxposed to dengerous amounts of toxic air over the last few weeks.

Police in bali are searching for two men in connection with a robbery on a villa in umalas on satuday 25 th novemeber . The two australian tourists jacob riliy sala tenna , 19,and daniel desmond classen , 19,have had items stolen from their vacation villa amounting to IDR 9 . Million. CCTV footage shows that the criminal who entered the villa opened the unlocked front gate, and then forced open the front door of the villa. The police have received one report from a staff member at the villa complex who saw the door ajar at around 4.40 pm. However, she did not report any suspicious activity since she thought the guests were already in the room
