My key takeaway focusses on incorporating tech into the learning design process i.e. not just designing the learning and then using the most familiar tech to deploy it, but instead making tech an integral part of the learning design process. Different techs offer not only an opportunity to try something new to deploy the learning but offer the opportunity to transform the learning and curriculum design. This idea's been brewing around my head for years but I haven't been able to crystallise this thought. Design thinking has enabled me to see these opportunities.

One of my takeaways (after the integration of technology, for me too) is to keep up the student feedback and evaluation, but make it even more frequent, varied in form, and also more obviously intentional that I want their collaboration not only on their own learning, but in designing/improving the units for others in the future.

My key takeaway is using assessments to scaffold student learning. Timing assessments so students can build off this feedback and then build on this for the next assessment.
