What prevented me from getting a higher grade?
Answer:
My experiences and mindset . Last year, i barely made it through every class and I was slacking hard, I felt liked I wasn’t capable of doing good. Not only that. My motivation was lacking and I felt like there was no point in getting good grades or trying for good grades. Therefore, this year I didn’t want the same thing to repeat again but that thought of the back of my head saying that I failed once and I would fail again.

What can i do to be better?
Answer:
I could try to do more and practice more before the exam to take note of my mistakes so i don’t repeat them for the next test. I could also review the structure and remember the little mistakes that could cost me marks. Not only that, I could try to study more with my friends to get different insights and point of views on how to answer a question so that my view of thinking would be wider

How do i feel about my first grade for English?
Answer:
I feel like I could’ve done a lot better, or at least bump up a mark so that I could get A2. Before the exam, I studied hard and read different discursive essays from different school and also researched online to see how I could be better. I expected at least an A2 from all the work I did. During the exam, I was gliding smoothly through the formats and managed to remember all the mistakes to take note of and formats. However, halfway through the exam, I couldn’t breathe, my nose blocked up and I had to breathe through my mouth because I had no time to go to the restroom. While I was struggling to catch my breath, I also had to rush to finish the exam but lost focus time to time. I regret not taking my medication before the exam so it could go with ease but I feel like if that issue didn’t come up, I would have gotten higher. Nevertheless, I’m grateful of my improvement from C5 to B3 and promise next to do better. In the end, its the improvement that matters as it shows even though I may not have got the grade I wanted, I got better than last time.

During the march holidays, I went to a town in Malaysia called Cameron highlands. Cameron highlands is beautiful and well known due to its waterfall, tea plantations, mountains and overall, nature. I expected it to be polluted with factory gas emissions and garbage littered everywhere but I was surprised to see that even if i had walked 20m, not a single piece of garbage or litter could be found. Not only that, the air up there was so fresh and it smelled like nature and rain.I visited quite A few tourist attractions there, such as a large waterfall being the most fun and memorable.

The large waterfall was just as similar as any other waterfall out there, water splashing everywhere, slippery rocks and small ponds of water here and there but there was something special about this waterfall. The journey to the waterfall itself is gruesome, the trail being all curvy and wavy and causing motion sickness for me and my family members. However, the view and experience up there was worth it.

Would you be keen to pick up an extreme sport? Why or why not?

Yes, i would be keen to pick up an extreme sport. I feel like picking up an extreme sport gives a fun vibe to your life and would be a good story to tell others. Not only that, i like the adrenaline rush and the fact that my life is on the line, which makes the experience more thrilling. However, im afraid of tight spaces so I wouldn’t dare to do anything underground. The fact that running it of oxygen and everything crashing down on me, making me unable to move, scares me. On the other hand, I’m not afraid of heights, i like the feeling of my stomach dropping as the wind rushes past my face. That’s why I love roller coasters and wish to bungee jump in the future. However, due to my young age, im forbidden to do such a thing until i reach the age of 18 because according to my parents, I shouldn’t risk my life because i have a long life to live. Therefore, once i grow older, I feel like it is more fun to do these activities with your friends of the same mindset so you can conquer that together and the feeling that youre not doing that alone makes you a little less scared. An example of the sports i would like to do is bungee jumping, rock climbing, zip lining, mountain biking and skydiving. These are sports regarding height which im not scared of. Just recently, i went on a very large. \\ roller coaster in Singapore Universal Studios with my friends, called the Cyclon. The name alone scared the wits out of me and the long dragon like appearance made it even more unappealing. Nevertheless, since i was with my friends and we wanted to conquer a new experience together, we went on it. After the ride was over, 2 of us started vomiting but we still had fun and it was a very hilarious experience. In conclusion, im keen on participating an extreme sport because of the feeling and the fact that it would make a good story in the future. And also

During the coronavirus era during 2020 was one of the most difficult chapters of my life. You may wonder why? Having to stay home all day and having the opportunities to complete tasks and the problem of waking up early was not even a term at that point in time. However, for me, it was the complete opposite. I love outdoors, especially hanging out with my friends, exploring new places and trying new things, then the coronavirus started spreading. Everything was shut down, from the most used up accommodations to the least used, such as the grocery market to bubble tea shops. Everyone was far too scared to catch the virus. Staying home all day for a whole month was way too much for me. I had to see the same people, the same things, and I ran out of things to do to keep me entertained! I had to stay resilient as there was no point in throwing a tamper tantrum, I called my friends daily and went out of my comfort zone by learning to do new things such as cooking. Nevertheless, boredom always seemed to creep up on me, I resilientlyovercomed it, trying my best not to go insane
