we had lots of opportunity to have class discussions especially in my history classes. he more or less didn’t say anything, and let us facilitate

my teachers either wouldn’t bring it up at all, or they’d say a sentence at the beginning of class about the “stressful times”

By making the curriculum relevant to it. But this is easier for geography and history. But for courses like math and English it was harder.

The teacher avoided discussing them, but allowed us to discuss them. so That is the student's own opinion, but the teacher still remains neutral.

my teacher made groups of students and assigned each a different current or historical global conflict, and asked each group to present on the conflict in a holistic sense, so looking at it the economic, political, social etc effects

My highschool only talked about past- wars and we don’t stress the politics and only talk about the hard times of the people

My high school didn’t really have that many conversations about these conflicts. They tried to avoid it

If conflicts were big, our teachers would sometimes use assemblies to facilitate discussion and ensure all students were aware of support for themselves

during the height of the BLM movement in 2020, my english teacher encouraged us to pick books by black authors and provided us with examples that would offer insight into the situation (eg Dear Martin and The Hate U Give)
