Life Cycle Analysis of Energy Consumption Distribution Energy System Projects and GHG Emissions - a brewery beer box auxiliary power supply in China.

The analysis of the life cycle according to its product chooses for an adequate sustainability of the company where it guarantees an optimal development that applies social as well as economic and environmental factors, managing the ISO norms a suitable final disposition of the product is carried out where there are no alterations with the environment or the health and economic losses are implied, the ideal of this project is to minimize the damages caused by the polluting emissions and to reduce the energy expense provided applying wind energy that guarantees the same function but without an environmental impact records to the quality of the Chinese air. This project implements each of the phases of the ACV in order to obtain an effective and quality product that complies with the principles, requirements and policies of environmental management techniques of the NTC ISO 14040 and NTC ISO 14044 standards, in the private entity that manages the electrical and environmental sector.

The purpose of the life cycle is to implement a scope and objective that encompasses environmental aspects and impacts according to the NTC ISO 14040 and NTC ISO 14044 standards. It proposes a systematic procedure of principles and requirements to identify, verify and evaluate the findings that are presented in the product system through development strategies that contribute to minimize environmental impacts.

ISO in the 1990s standardized a systematized work structure to conduct a life cycle analysis, resulting in ISO standards 14040, 14041, 14042 and 14043. Subsequently in 2006, following rigorous technical reviews, these standards were merged into ISO 14040 and 14044.
There are four phases in an ACV study according to ISO 14040: 2006:
Definition of objectives and scopes: In this phase the reasons for which the study is developed are exposed and the scope is established where the amplitude, depth and detail of the study is defined.
Life Cycle Inventory (ICV): During this stage, all the inputs (consumption of resources and materials) and outputs (emissions into the air, soil, water and generation of waste) that can cause an impact during the life cycle of a product are identified and quantified.
Life Cycle Impact Assessment (ICV): During this stage, the inputs and outputs selected in the inventory are related to the possible impacts on the environment, human health and resources, in order to classify, characterise and assess the importance that the potential impacts generate.
Interpretation of results: The interpretation is the combination of the results of the (ICV) and the (EICV), with the purpose of extracting, according to the objectives and proposed scopes, conclusions and recommendations that allow decision making.

We studied the China Brewery Snow Breweries Natural Gas Distributed Energy System project, and designed 5 other cases with different energy pathways to compare their energy consumption and emissions performance. The result shows that the All Natural Gas project saves 8% energy and reduces GEI emissions by 38% compared to the traditional project that uses coal and grid electricity. While the emission reduction effect of renewable energy projects is not as significant as that of the All Natural Gas project, we found that renewable energy projects have potential for future development.
