The child babbles and learns the clues of literacy by knowing the letters.

Alphabet book is a very important subject in picture books. There are countless published works under this category. Although it is impossible to study the publishing time of the earliest alphabet book, if we simply look back on the development history of picture books, we will find that in the mid-19th century, the European illustration children's book market began to prosper, which affected the United States and made the picture book publishing industry in the United States develop rapidly in the 20th century.  Some earlier examples like Ladybird books - made in post-war Britain - had a hyper simplicity and were connected to new modes of educational thinking. These were dominant in homes and schools. And now are extremely trendy and used widely in gift merchandise.  Such a profound history and the importance of letters to children's language learning in western society mentioned above, it is not difficult to infer that alphabet books may have been a veteran in the history of picture books.

Seemingly simple 26 letters, you can play too many tricks. Many picture book creators are eager to try this and want to make a unique interpretation of the letters in their own way in the vast art space of picture books. Therefore, the forms and types of alphabet books are really diverse.
